Academic studies on the artistic formation

  • 1964-1969 Experimental Art Institute of Rome. Degree of Master of Arts, Section Decorative Painting and Applied Arts
  • 1970 Obtains a professorship to teach Art History
  • 1970-1973 Art Academy of Rome, Italy
  • 1971 Competition Winner in Terna and Opposition to the Chair of Master of Arts
  • 1971 Gold Medal, awarded by the Senate of the Italian Republic, as the best exponent of the young Italian painting
  • 1971 Scholarship, 6 months in Paris, France. Obtained as the best student in the top three in Italy
  • 1971-1974 Università La Sapienza di Roma: Obtains a degree on Sociology of Art
  • 1972 Studies of theology at the Università Gregoriana of Roma

Promotes, creates, designs and carries out different projects such as:

  • National School for Crafts, (sculpture in wood, stone, leather goods, tapestries made of rope ), in the city of Masaya
  • Laboratory School, for ceramics and sculpture of San Juan de Limay
  • The conception, design and the opening of the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art
  • Teaches Aesthetics and Art at the Polytechnic Institute of Managua

In 1987, he moved to Guatemala, where his main activity is the strategic communication advertising and graphic design. Lecturer of Art history and cultural operator, working with UNICEF, FAO and UNESCO, in social communications campaigns. Promotes and produces documentaries with socio-cultural themes.
